Meet the face behind P&A

Dr. Monohn Prud’homme is a dynamic catalyst for change and a proud native of Monroe, Louisiana. With passion for workforce development and community enhancement, she recently earned her Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University. Additionally, Dr. Prud’homme holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 

For the past eight years, Dr. Prud’homme has dedicated herself to serving as a support services coordinator, honoring the skills necessary to empower individuals to become employable. Her mission is clear: to uplift her community through targeted workforce development initiatives. 

In 2022, she founded Prudhomme & Associates LLC with the intent to bridge the workforce gap by connecting skilled job seekers with employers who offer living wage opportunities. Dr.Prud’homme provides comprehensive career readiness training, staffing solutions and recruitment services tailored for colleges and universities. Through her innovative approach, she is committed to ensuring that individuals are not only prepared for the workforce but also linked to meaningful employment. 

Notably, Prudhomme and Associates has led several impact projects, including providing Career Readiness Trainings under NOVA Workforce Institute from 2019 to 2024. During the initiative, she ensured over 1,000 residents of the Monroe Housing Authority had access to essential career training, ultimately helping over 720 individuals secure living wage jobs with benefits. 

Additionally, Prudhomme and Associates served as the Qualitative Researcher for “Unlocking and Understanding Co-Occurring Disorders” project in collaboration with PAIR Supported Employment, funded by the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council (LADDC). 

With her dedication to fostering economic empowerment and her proven track record, Dr. Prud’homme continues to inspire and create pathways for individuals seeking growth and opportunity in her community.
